Default 91 Honda electrical connector

What's the secret in disconnecting the electrical connector that's located on the right under neath the distributor. I thought it was a push on type, but so far moderate tugging and wiggling has been unsuccessful. Before I use any more force I thought I would ask some of you experts just how this thing comes apart! Trying to replace the head gasket on my kids car.

Thanks

The connector to the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor gauge should pull straight out. Just wipe off more of the oil and pull, twist moderately, and wiggle some more.

Just to let you know, I did get the connector off. It came right off with a good forceful yank.

Thanks again for the responses!

though not related to your question, it is related to the pic you posted... there's obviously an oil leak that needs to be fixed (and lots of cleaning to do) but for your kid's sake, replace that heater hose in the pic. it's swelling with oil soak and will soften more and pop. super easy to do since you'll have the head off.

just wanted to make sure that was out there.
