wait so you're rockin a dpfi d16y7? nice nice. whats the specs of your car? i gotta say, that driving a slammed car is meh. lowered is nice, but driving a slammed car kind of takes the fun out of driving, you have to watch for EVERYTHING. but that's just my opinion. your car looks clean man!

Its a honda civic dx version that it automatic . It has a d16y7 engine when I got it for the first time. My plans are to lower it and try to put some nice wheels on it. Another thing I want to do to the engine is change it into a stick shift and get the engine bay looking clean aka some wire tucking.the body is to fix the rust spots and get a jdm front end conversion with foglights. I want to keep the engine the same but clean it up. So its my first car project and would any advice from anyone.

jdm front are nice..and exspensive.
when you locate a tranny make sure its a si.
you can still use your auto ecu, but i think youll need a pedal assembly off a manuel as well
more pics please..how clean is the inside?

Thanks for all the advice so far on my build. This engine is a d16y7 engine, which tranmissions work on this engine? any 88-91 si tranmssion?? And I use rustoleum high performance enamel paint, work real well against rust and other surfraces, and it dried fast and look even better. Im having a problem with the usual honda cancer..and thought about that?? let me know and ill add more pics when i work on my car.

The JDM SiR bumper has wrap-around corners.
I would expect all JDM hatches to have the wrap-around too, but maybe not.

I think you can tell by the license plate holes too.
My SiR bumper plate holes were closer together than the USDM.

you can use door panels from a crx, i've done it. same stuffs. seats might need a seat pan swap but is do able, carpet is usable, so is dash, if you want to get creative swap out the manual climate control in your hatch with the electronic stuff from the crx, then you can use an EG climate control unit if the crx one is cracked. but as far as rear interior panels, no.

i got the crx from the middle of nowhere... the interior is good except seats(which I dont need). I got it which a d15b2 engine and tranmission, can I use the tranmission on my d16y7? does it fit or not? And here our some pics from the crx. After i use all the pieces that i want, ill put whatever left for sale.

Update, I got busy on seeing what the problem with the crx and wanted to see if it ran...all it needed was a battery, It sounds better than my white civic.. lol.. So I took out the dash and im going to take out the wire harnesses out so I can transfer it over to my white civic.
