Clutch Cable connecter to clutch snapped.
I was driving and i heard a snap and my clutch dropped to the floor. Popped my hood and where the clutch cable goes into the firewall pulled right out. It had the metal piece still there with with the 2 holes on each prawn. IS this an easy fix and how could i do it? Sucks my car is chillin in the worst part of town right now and i got to go to work in like 40 minutes. need help stat! thanks.
OK sorry for wasting everyones time who ever read this. I easily fixed this by just loosening up the cable and detaching it off the lever on the tranny then pulling the prawns through the fire wall " in the pic above " I got a little bolt that fit through the holes and a nut that fit the bolt and put it on there and then connected it to the hook on my clutch pedal. Tightened up the clutch cable and then good to go. I'm just not sure how long the bolt will hold. Could snap soon or it could hold forever but what ev it worked!
