Availibility of Hardtops? Oem &/or Aftermarket
did a lil bit of searching. results inconclusive.
I am highly considering picking up an S2k in the future.
I was wondering how likely is it to find an Oem hardtoped car driven by your average joe who leaves their car stock.
If those are hard to find or comeby, Are their plenty of aftermarket options? in C/fiber or a quality Oem like fitting aftermarket one?
I really like the clubracer. and I almost bought an s2k before i got my mr2, but Now i want one of each!

You would be surprised the amount of people that do or will sell their hardtop with an s2000.
For the most part, OEM tops can still be purchased new. The aftermarket is in abundance with hardtops, but majority of them are Mugen copies. Theirs not a company making a copy of the OEM hardtop other Amuse (although its slightly different with the angle of the glass), which is just too much cash. OEM tops go up for sale on forums every now and then, and for the most part one can be fetched for 1,800 - 2,500 depending on condition/ color/ what it comes with.

i found my S completey stock with the oem hard top. when i took it off for the first time to inspect the soft top, it looked like the soft top just rolled off the assembley line.
just look around patiently.

Don't know how likely you are to find one with a hardtop, but you can still get them new. Hardtopguy says "As of 6/1/2008, All top colors are available except Spa Yellow. Hardtops get ordered on a Daily basis and take approximately 10 - 15 days to arrive at the dealership." http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/prod...831&quantity=1
