Any tips for the 1989 honda prelude 2.0 S?
I got a 1989 honda prelude 2.0 S automatic if I would have known the SI was better I would have tried for that lol... but I suck and am new to the game.
I want to add a little more louder sound to the exhaust and a little punch to it if I can... i know i got a S and automatic but what can add a bit of more +
I got car lowered 1.5 inches on some eibach springs the exhaust all new from the cat back... I tried to put 2 diff headers on it and these places said it would fit but they did not... so I will stick with the old manifold and down pipe until I can get a custom 1 made for $1,500 lol... I also redid all the belts and gaskets on all i could which fixed the manifolds air leak that made a high pitch at 2000 rpms and new sparks and wires destributor cap and rotor... the car has run pretty nice since i got it... the cv joints or my next concern i will get that fixed soon... also on the way new rotors and brakes... but what about perfomance any tips that could help a bit?

I highly recommend researching as much as possible before
purchasing parts. And also making a plan of what your goals
are in terms of extra hp before you start. Otherwise you may
buy parts only to have to replace them again in the future.
Hope this helps

S as in dual side drafts?
i'd recommend a double barrel in the mouth. i so hated those things.
you can find webers to put on it, which would make a world of difference, but it is no easy project.

if you wanna go for it check 3geez.com and the 2gen forum of ************ for carb info.
i don't believe anyone in the 3gens has done much with the carbs.
