Default Brake light is on, why? (Dimmed)

- '94 Accord LX 4DR

The brake light went on today..

The one that goes on when you put the e-brake on.

Why is it constantly on?

Its slightly dimmer because when you put the e-brake on the light gets brighter.

There has been nothing wrong with the car lately.. besides it being stolen and dropped on all 4 with no rims.

But was inspected and nothing was wrong and runs and breaks good after about a month of the incident.

Only thing done a couple hours before the light went on was putting a 97 EX SE cd player + receiver radio into the car...

Any ideas?

Default Re: Brake light is on, why? (Dimmed)

so i searched a bit more..

i check the brake fluid lvl and its probably.. TOO FULL.. can that be a problem?

how do i check if the sensor cap or "float" (the reservoir right?) is messed up?

.. people say to check their plug for the e-brake.. how do i do that?
- i dont think its the e-brake tho. cuz that has always worked and never gave me problems..

but then again. i moved the console earlier and i might have hit something..

let me know. thanks..
