Default I'm in a Leak...

Yesterday was the first time it has rained since I bought my 1990 CRX DX. Considering it's been a month and that I live in Florida, that's really odd not seeing rain at least once a week in the summer.
Actually the odd part is that I noticed Lake Superior forming in the back of my hatch after the rain subsided.

Ive already checked my tailights and they were blown ( and the taillight casings were full of water) so Im going to make some taillight gaskets out of a few trapper keepers today.
Thats a solution to the first leak problem.

I also noticed a leak coming from the top of the hatch. I investigated it and found an old rotted hatch stripping that needs to be replaced because it's too far beyond repair -silicon-
Also the guy I bought the car off of decided to paint all of the stripping on the windows, hatch , and what-not to its all brittle and cracking now.
Point is, I just need to replace all the stripping now to prevent headache later.

So my attempt at Google didn't really give me any results for weather stripping replacement. I called up Honda and they only sell a selected few pieces and those pieces cost ehh... 80$ average and aren't even in the store.

Does anybody know of any retailers who make all of our stripping pieces?

So if I walked up to a guy who knew the answer he should tell me " Im not telling you search the yellow pages" ?

I've already searched in the search bar, on google, even went to honda. I think thats a pretty good notion that I've been doing my best at looking around.

The honda-tech search feature doesn't return enough relevant results to help me out.

I'm sorry if I'm new here and I have questions that are logical.

rockauto.com if you wanna go cheap and probably have more leaks. honda takes 24 hours usually to get a part in if you call it in now you can probably get it tomorrow. otherwise get on rockauto. I cant speak for their parts but I would go OEM for weather stripping.

If you actually took the time to read the topic i clearly stated I searched. I was looking for a specific answer based on the question...

I really didn't know ego's here were the size of post counts.
Please don't contradict yourself with the "big boy" comments. Your only hurting yourself...

But thank you for the advice, I am now 110% aware of the search feature on this site

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I checked with the hondaUSA dealership and they cover preferably around 50%ish of the stripping. HondaCanada has all the stuff but they say they wont ship all the way down to Florida, bummer.

Mainly it's the hatch seal that leaks. Also, the door window stripping has become hardened due to the last owner spray painting it black. Its not soft enough to conform to the windows all too well. Do you know (or anyone else for that matter) if its possible to remove the spray paint and ?recondition? those strip pieces? <those are the pieces that no one at honda really has.

Thanks in advance
