I wish there were more companies offering retrofit packages. (headlight housing with retrofit already installed)

I would rather pay $1k for a set of headlights with a retrofit already installed than have to send my headlights out/buy a second set of headlight housings, wait for them to be installed, etc.

Why not DIY? Then you don't need to send your headlight out.

why not buy another pair of headlights and send those in? there are always people selling oem headlights on 8th civic.

He said he doesn't want to do that, in the post you quoted.

Reading comprehension.

woops, missed the part where he said he didn't want to buy another set of headlights. sue me.

either way, whether you're buying a 2nd pair of headlights with the retrofit already done or buying a 2nd pair of non-modified headlights and then getting the retrofit done in those, you're buying a 2nd pair of headlights . you can always search 8th civic for people selling their retrofitted headlights. this way you can usually save a little money too.
