WHATS A GOOD SPOT TO PUT THE BALLAST FOR MY HID'S?
i jus bought a hid conversion kit(its not the slim ones nd theyre H4) for my stock headlamps for my ep3 and i was wondering if anyone know a good place where to put the ballasts for it. if u guys can post a pic of where you placed ur ballast that wud be great thanks
ok remove ur bumper and behind the crash frame u on the sides u can mount it. double sided tape and zip ties.. man i wish i had a pic to show u. go over to ep hatch im sure they have a pic. that's how i did mine cuz i saw someone do it like that over on ep hatch. its hidin and clean install!
I just installed mine in the largest open space available by the strut mounts. It kind of looks tacky but it is easy to get to (should I need to remove them) and they haven't gotten any water on them yet. I just used velcro strips to mount them.
I put mine inside the fenders on the chassi. They are tucked in nice between the fenders and the fender liner. You cant even tell they are there if you take the bumper off or the inside liners.
Screw the ballast onto the underside of each light. If you bought your HID's from retro-solutions.com, then the ballasts will have the perfect mounting points to screw into the holes of the underside of the lights (where a ballast is meant to be). This is assuming your EP3 lights have mounting points like the RSX.

No zip-ties, no double-sided tape, no problems with water getting on the ballast. All wires will be hidden behind the bumber fenderwell.
