L3/s20 internals?

i was just wondering if it was posible to swap the internals from a s20 trans into an L3 case.

Only the diff, and 3/4/5 gears.

thanks, thats to bad i need the dif and 2nd gear. guess i will have to convert to the hydro trans.

Is it posible to put in 3,4,5 (any s20?) without dif? Does it matter sohc or dohc? cable or hydro?

Yes. SOHC or DOHC doesn't matter, they're the same transmissions, same with cable and hydro for 3-5.
