Brake upgrade on CRX Hf
I've read a zillion threads on EF brake upgrades but I have not seen my question answered...
I have a '91 CRX HF and am upgrading to 10.3" DA brakes (knuckles, calipers, discs). I'll of course be swapping in the required DX/Si axles as well. All of the posts I have found are for DX and Si both of which use an 8" brake booster while the Hf uses a smaller 7" booster. Will the smaller booster be okay with the other brake mods?
FWIW - I also plan on upgrading to a 90-91 EX 15/16" MC and 3540 Prop valve (keeping rear drums).

yes. smaller booster will be fine. it'll just be slightly harder to modulate. the bigger booster provides more "boost", thus allowing less effort to lock up the brakes.
you could run the HF without any problems. but, personally, I swapped to the Si cause I had one laying around. If you can find one for $10, it's worth it, more than that... probably not that big of a deal.

That's good news - one less component I'll have to buy. I've heard that a 4040 prop valve will work (and is more available)... any opinions? If you had rear drums what prop valve did you use?
10.3" is quite a bump up from the HFs stock 9.1". My goals are 130-150whp with a sub-2000# curb weight, so 10.3" should be fime (actually Si 9.5"s would be fine - but I can't leave well enough alone...).
