I plan on moving out to the suburbs of South San Francisco or Fairfield/Vallejo once I land a job as an auto service technician, but how much is more than enough for one person to have a stable living out in those areas? I definitely won't mind long commutes daily.

I mean it can't be that bad since I'm temporarily living with my folks in SF and they're paying about $4,000 a month for mortgage payment alone.

If those don't work out to well, then I'll definitely move up to Sacramento or Stockton.
