How much does the shop charge you to change your clutch?

How much does the shop charge you to change your clutch?
They charged me 500$ with a family discount since the mechanic their knows my parents for my 04 vic. seems a bit too much when another mechanic said he would of done it for 250 .

Well I got my clutch and flywheel from a shop and they charged me $200 for both of those..than another $240 for install..so $500 is not too bad...some shops will charge you a lot more...
