A local is selling his 2000 stock ITR for $10,900 OBO. I haven't checked it out in person yet but hopefully I will this weekend. Opinions and advice is appreciated.

yep, a clean stock late itr would fetch 10k, i'd still bring 10k in cash & offer 9k just to see how firm he is. then walk up 200 at a time. most the time you can at least save something. car is priced right though
Deffinately a beautiful car, seems a little low-priced though... Check it out, make sure all the VIN's match, get a CarFax, etx... make sure you're not getting scammed.
there's another sister thread just like this one in the ITR section. while i agree carfax isn't a bad idea, all it's really going to do is list major red flags. a leakdown test and drive through the gears will be what really sells it. ITRs have been selling for less this year than i have ever seen them before. one of my friends picked up a car just like this with a clean title & some front end damage for 5k less than 2 months ago. many salvage title Rs are going for 8k in great shape too. since i doubt many of you guys are getting loans on Rs the salvage titles if repaired correctly can be great deals.

Next year I want to pick up an R, but they're so hard to find out here that are unmolested. The local Acura dealer has a MINT PY ITR for $14,xxx. The only thing stopping me from signing the loan is my unsteady job at this point.
