FYI, just thought i'd let you prelude guys know that innovative has come out with their new competition traction bar for the 1992-2001 Honda Prelude.
a great addition and item you prelude guys need and have been looking for

I really like innovative's products, Wonder is this setup is less expensive than the ESP kit. hopefully they thought that one through.
hard to believe that innovative would be cheaper then ESP.
ESP prices for all their products are very good for the quality you get. Can't beat them.

the radius rods look like they will be more stable with the two holes. ESP fanboys get ready.Just kidding. I think the ESp unit is probably just as good but I figure the Innovative will be just as good. Anythings better than the ebay crap.
I've never liked that rigid mounting point on the LCA, i've always seen them this way for EFs for a reason I do not know, but why would they be done this way on these? Won't it restrict suspension travel?

the radius arm is so move up n down, dual spherical bearings might cause for too much deflection in all areas. this is the way your factory suspension is setup. why change it ?
i am very interested in this traction bar....when will the bracket for the front mount be available?? i had the innovative traction bar on my crx and that thing worked wonders so im lookin forward to someone testing this one....ill probably end up getting it within a few months anyway...i agree with keeping the mounting point on the control arm "like stock" as oppossed to the spherical bearings....you dont want any play forward/backward.
With a spherical bearing there is no play, but thats not the topic of this thread, Innovative makes some nice stuff, so if they say its good, I suppose they're good enough. Just not how I do it.
What are the 2 black things for? Are they tow hook replacements? Any better pictures of those?

if you say there is no play ill take ur word for it but id rather have the solid rod w/o the spherical bearings...what is the purpose/advantage of having spherical bearings on the end that attaches to the control arm???.....i could be 100 percent wrong but im trying to learn... on esp's bar they have a funky looking bracket and a heim that connects to the lower arm....the only advantage of their design is the ability to adjust it more quickly. but id rather have the radius rod directly mounted to the arm w/o anything in-between...the bracket and heim are just something else to be worried about that might break for whatever reason...

when your suspension is cycle, with the rod end on the cross member and the LCA they are both free to move. but with a rigid mounted bar, your free to move on the cross member, and you have to bend the bar on the LCA side. With the factory setup there is a big sloppy rubber bushing that deforms, but with no deformation in the rod end at the crossmember, the rod has to bend, or the LCA has to twist.
But i've known members who have done it this way and say they are happy with it, so maybe I'm just being a little too ****.

two black things are probably for a radiator/half radiator setup
i havent spoke to innovative too much on it yet

its not that difficult to have one fabbed up. any decent shop should be able to handle it for you. my question is, did they even start production on this thing?
