hello ive been hitting my head against the wall i bought a drag crx with accel dfi standalone and im having charging problems. the alternator is a three wire zc alternator with a huge underdrive pulley. it runs fine but as soon as you shut it off its dead. and ive tried two different brand new redtop optimas!! the altrnator doesnt seem to do anything unless i rev it up high. so im going to change the underdrive pulley back to stock. but my question is that they have 12 v ran from a manual dash switch to the black yel and i think white wire. the blue wire is just cut off. is this wiring right??? how would i wire it to run the alt on a dash switch?? ive searched and searched with no succsses please help. i have to race it in hobbs nm tomm and i dont feel like dragging the battery charger around.

 

black yel gets 12v. i cut the other two. Its self regulating so just wire it to activate when the key is turned.

 

ok that how its wired. i think its the big *** pulley on it. im putting the stock pulley on i tomm.
