WTF man.....another axle down...
This is the 4th axle that has either popped out or broken on me in the last 2 yrs.....i thought it might be bc im somewhat slammed but it happened once before when i was barely tucking 55's.......idk....motor mount maybe? HELP ME
no, first time i took it to the dealer.....2nd time i changed it using an advanced auto axle, and now this 3rd time idk......guess its only been 3 times not 4 lol.
i believe andyman was running stock axles with almost 400whp and 300wtq along with boilermaker and skipbarber, which are both boosted. Bomerman runs stock axles too. I am running on stock axles too and all of them can attest, i kick the living **** out of my car.
are you running slicks?
if not stop doing burnouts it is wheel hop that snaps axles more than anything else. the axles themselves do not have that much torsional load on them while running down the road unless you are running slicks or trying to do a burn out, which is almost always the culprit. the bouncing up and down of the car while trying to spin the wheels throw a flex into the axle and since it is spinning so fast it causes a nasty vibration that snaps and usually shears off the axle. if you have to replace axles stick with advanced autopart axles they cost about $60-$80(as compared to $400 for OEM honda) and they are slightly thicker and will handle all your power needs as long as you respect them.

there is also the possibility that if it is really too low that the angle might be too much for the CV joint to handle at this point I would probably suggest a set of roll center adjuster might help but I haven't used them personally yet
