everyone is going to just tell u , get on a dyno , cause every car is different, but usually most people advance the intake side 1 to 2 Degree's and retard the exuast side 1 to 2, but you have to go to the dyno to be sure, otherwise, you may be losing power from this setting.

I might add if your turbo most likely you'll be best off with the intake 0 to maybe even a little retarded or the exhaust advanced some. Boost needs different settings than NA and it will affect your dynamic compression and with boost you need to be careful because the A/F will change a lot with gear changes. That may explain part of the reason the last motor blew any detonation with an NA motor and it'll live through it for a bit if not severe but turbo any detonation is severe and to be avoided. HTH

I think what he's trying to say is that cam angle is not perfect from the factory. Therefore the only proper way to find the perfect setting would be by results on the dyno.
I tried to get the same answers you're looking for a while back... I found so many varying setups it was hard to say. Although -2/+2 is common, I've seen IN+17 and EX-0, as well as my personal best at IN +14 and EX+4.
[B]Ryan[B]: "Hey, so what's my cam setting?"
My Dyno tech: "I dunno"
[B]Ryan[B]: "What do you mean you dunno?"
My Dyno tech: "I never watch the numbers, I do what the dyno tells me to."
