How to remove paint on the original paint?
Hi, I accidently hit my own gate when I was backing up my Prelude from the garage...and it has some black marks on the bumper. My Prelude is in electron blue pearl colour. What is the best way to remove the added black paint? I tried to wax them off but it didn't work...
Thank you...darn, why did I have to get something like this the night before I leave for UCSD...

they have stuff at autozone you could give a shot... i highly doubt they work as good as it says but with a shot to save a paint job. Try a buff wheel too. Search google it helps too.
Thinner will remove it but will leave the clear coat a little hazy. A rotary buffer with a medium compound and a wool pad will rub it off, just polish the swirls away afterwards and follow up with wax.
not at all.....it takes off just the surface paint that has been left on there from the fence, but will not repair any deep scratches left by the fence if there is any. trust me, pick up a bottle, follow the directions, and check it out. it will do the job no problem.
