just did my valves about 500 miles ago, now my valves are still making noise in the morning, when the engine is cold, they make a tapping noise, and when i rev the engine and let off, they make a high pitch noise also, did i adjust my valves wrong or something??

 

Yea, when my engine is cold and start it up, there's like a tapping noise comming from the Cam gear and Pulley Area. Tapping/Tacking noise, but when the engine is warmed up, the sound goes away... I'm not sure what it is either, but I have Idle problems too.

How's your idle?

 

sometimes not that great, sometimes it wants to die, RPM's drop real low, but other than that o.k. i guess

 

redo the valves

u have to do the valve adjustment with a cold motor.
so leave it over night and do it the next day.

valves expand when the engines hot and at normal operating temperature
