I had the car for one year now, time to get a full tune up since i put 50k miles on it. (major commute)

what do you recommend?

2000 honda accord ex.. since i bought the vehicle i only did normal oil changes, and had to replace the bad o2 sensor.

wanted to know what should i replace at 200k miles.

if the first timing belt was done at the right time (around 105k miles) you're about due again.

things i would do..

-oil change
-trans fluid change
-air filter change
-replace spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor
-cabin filter
-check tires for wear and pressure, rotate if needed (don't forget the spare)
-check brakes (including fluid condition, change fluid if needed)
-check hoses for cracking or buldging
-check accessory belts for cracking or abnormal wear (i use this as an indication of timing belt age since they should be changed at the same time)
-hit all the hinges and latches with some white lithium grease
-check p/s fluid (if equipped)
-check coolant level and condition
-clean battery and battery cables
-clean engine bay

i know i'm leaving something out, but this is close enough to complete.

 

I would also check the ball joints for cracks. Very inexpensive to replace.
