The F22B SOHC VTEC is the same engine as the OBD1 F22B1 out of the 94-95 CD5/CD7 Accord. So if you want a plug and play (non tunable) SOHC 2.2L VTEC ECU. You are looking for a 94-95 P0A ECU.
Automatic Transmission = P0A-A51 or
Manual Transmission = P0A-A01.

If you want a tunable ECU then you are looking for a chipped OBD1 ECU.

I've chipped all kinds of ECUs to run all kinds of different set-ups. VTEC DOHC ECUs with IABs that end up running SOHC Non VTEC engines.

For me any chippable ECU is good. Get the one that is the cheapest for what you require. IMO a chipped P06 would be good for you. If you plan on adding a VTEC head or anything else that can be added to the P06 board later on.

Well I'm not sure how well a stock P28 would run a 2.2L or how easy a virgin P28 will be to find. A chipped P06 w/VTEC added would probably be cheaper.

Check out Phearable, Xenocron, or HRTuning

Or you could buy a P06 from ebay for $50-$100 and chip it yourself.
Chip kit = $8-$16
VTEC conversion Kit = $10-$20

I have a few chip kits and VTEC conversion kits here if you buy a P06 ECU and ship it up to me I'll chip, and convert it for you.
