I'm pretty sure AEM doesn't make cams. The make cam gears to advance or retard the cam timing but they don't make the actual cams. Also there are a hundred answers that that question. If you had a specific engine setup and performance goal in mind you may get a few helpfull answers.

search h-t, plus what motor do you have? what car is it in? all you have to do is minimal research on h-t and you'll find many answers for cams that will suit you. make sure you know what motor you have when asking these questions or no one can help.

the car is just a stock 96 gsr, seems like looking from a lot of setups seems like most people go with the AEM so was thinking it must be the better one

AEM doesnt make cams, they make cam GEARS! there's a difference there just incase u didnt know... Go re-do some studing/research then come back with a more serious question.

????? are you talking bout cams or cam gears? cam gears are where the timing belt goes over. cams are inside the head. also know as camshaft. if your motor is stock theres no need to get cam gears. plus, what kind of power do you want? all motor, turbo, nitrous? depends what you wanna do then build it from there that way you dont waste time and money.

ITR/CTR cams or Blox B's would be my suggestion. In order to get much out of them, you're going to need a chipped ECU with a basemap for the cams and engine. If i were you, i'd plan a long term goal for the car and work towards it rather than just throwing random parts at it. When i bought my GSR, that's what i did...instead of buying stupid miscellaneous ****, i saved up and bought a turbo setup...then got hooked. Once you know the direction you plan to take, all things will become apparent

If your supercharging I would lean closer to ITR/CTR or Skunk2 Stage 1 Tuners. Both are drop in cams and don't really require upgraded valvetrain.

whats with every one going toward sk2 garbage. Go with buddy club spec III, IV, or V cams, buddy club gears, buddy club dual valvesprings, titanium retainers and valves. Step your game up and build a bad *** motor. Might as well go hard or go home.... I did this to my b16a2 as well as a number of other upgrades and im pushin 230 whp with 215 torque. I guess it all depends on the size of your wallet and how much your willing to spend

We have camshafts and camgears with proven power and dyno charts!
Check out our website: www.bisimoto.com

There is also a "dyno-vault" under our forums section that shows what our customers have done.

Hope that helps!

Forced Induction cars don't respond well to seriously aggressive camshafts, the overlap is too much and boost pressure gets sucked out. Hence the reason most guys with low boost pressure setups run Type R cams of Skunk2 Stg1s. High boost larger turbo setups like 35Rs and up respond really well to the Pro1 camshaft. Stop talking out your ***, before you go and get someones car blown up. The fact that your bragging about Buddy Club doesn't make you look any smarter, their camshafts are awful. Buddy Club 3s are a joke. 4s and 5s, on a stock motor.....hahahaha you must be out your mind. The OP should state what he plans on doing with the car, where he wants his powerband to be, how much money he has, and also of importance what upgrades he has already done if he wants some insightful and educated responses from the rest of the community.
