Car starts fine and everything, but when someone sits in the passenger seat or even puts some kind of weight on that side the idle drops and the car just dies. Just wondering what could be wrong because i have no clue. Need help!

 

ur ecu is on that side
take out the carpet n check it

Check for a loose ECU connector. Also inspect the ECU wire harness for damage.

If it's a 96-00 Civic, also check the main relay to the right of the glove box.
