seafoaming question... ha
If i unplugged a vacuum line off my intake tubeing could i induce the seafoam safely?
reason im asking is i got some to do it again and last time i used the line that goes from the valve cover to the intake plennum. that worked fine but i was just wondeirng if i could induce it before the intake manifold, maybe cleaning the throttle body and upper plenum as well. But i wasnt sure if maybe that would mess up a sensor... or idle controling device.

I doubt that anywhere before the throttle body would have enough vacuum. The brake booster vacuum line is usually the first choice for most people, for all makes and models.
Seafoam wouldn't harm any of the sensors, so there's no worries about that.
My preference for cleaning the throttle body is to remove the intake piping, and just go at it with an old toothbrush.

1. the tube on the left side of the motor that goes into your air intake BLOWS exhaust gases out back into the intake.
2. Use the vacuum line that comes out of the intake manifold in the middle of the valve cover in the back.
3. Use something with a valve to feed the seafoam in slowly or you WILL screw things up majorly.
4. only use 1/3 of the bottle
5. Take the throttle body apart and clean it with carb cleaner with a soft towel, dont spray stuff in while the car is on.
