Uhh. Maybe because it's the Clutch .

Don't you realize that it's been stiff the whole time because you haven't changed the clutch?

It's more than likely the pressure plate. Do you recall which Pressure plate you got?

My clutch is rated for 456 ft lbs and it's stiff as ****, the reason being is it has more clamping power. This is more than likely the reason yours is so stiff because of the power the clutch can hold.

if your breaking cables you either need a new pressure plate, or you have to strong of a plate for a cable and need to look into a hydrolic clutch setup

I do not know which pressure plate I have!! Could it be that the pressure plate needs to be resurfaced!? Which pressure plate would I need if I have a different one!?

You need to open up the motor/tranny and look inside , should say HTC , ACT , Exedy , etc on it and most you can tell just by the color like yellow would be ACT , no way of really telling what kind though except the shape. I had to open up mine take it out , and look onlineto compare to figure out which one I had.
