Car has a nice clean look and im lovin the wheels. Whats the specs on them? Also was there any specific reason that you started with the Lx and transformed to the Si?

Money at the time. But hey im not complaining, i was stock at 120whp now at 247 whp at 8.5 psi. no internals. we havent put up the boost yet cuz my car is the prototype for AJP. They are going to be putting this kit on the market shorty once we are 100% satifsied with the tuning. Daily driving and Drivability are a HUGE thing which are PERFECT right now. NO bogging, stalls or anything. Drives like it just came from the factory. My intentions werent to make it look like and Si at all... just did things to my likings... but yeah it kinda did turn out to look like one... i have the R18 badges in my grille and on my trunk. gonna put SOHC on the sides. but thank you.


The Works are 17x8 and 33 offset.

yea I definatly noticed the double whp gain and I understand about the money thing. DD and drivablilty are 2 huge factors when modifying. The r18 badges are nice and im not sure if I would put a SOHC sticker on it.

Definitely refreshing to see an R18 that would own 99.9% of the Si's here

 

Until equal modifications were applied to the k20.

I can't speak for this r18, but I've gone up against other turbo'd r18s with factory internals, and the top end just is not there. The engine simply does not rev high enough. I had another 1500rpms or so, of peak power to accelerate through, while the r18 had already upshifted and dropped back down to the bottom of its powerband.

here's a vid of me n an fa5 with I/H/E. The other kit out for the R18 is the tsi making about 210whp at 10.5psi. I make roughly the amount of power a K20 makes with the Greddy kit. I'm at 247whp at 8.5 psi.

 

the thing about the greddy kit is that its street legal.
so its limited on how big the specs of the kit can be,
but u can always upgrade the greddy kit to make more hp

 

This is true I know a guy making 309whp with the greddy k20 kit. he obviously put more money into modifying the kit tho

I'm not denying that you have a very fast r18, but to be fair...

An Si with an AJP turbo at roughly 8.5psi would be pushing an upwards of 380hp. (At 10.2psi, it pushes 420hp+)

 

OP-very nice car. Not usually a fan of pink or dish wheels, but they look good on TW. I like the R18 badge in the grill.
