doing a jdm front swap on a 99gsr and the stock hood latch cable doesn't seem to be long enough as the stock one sits backwards from the jdm unit and with the new core support on the length is to short to come around to the other side for it to fit in the latch. What cable will work that I need to get for this? first time doing this exact front swap so no knowledge on what to use for this application. yup thats wat i have on mine also!

 

I just ran mine thru my firewall and didnt connect it too my hood popper. The cable goes about 3 inches into the cabin, just enough to grab and pop the hood. I found it funny when i got pulled over and the cop tried to pop my hood and couldnt do it. Haha

where did you stick it thru? the only place i can imagine it going thru is the clutch master firewall spot
