"NO LIE"

Im tired of haters trying to jack my S***.
I cant live a day without stress and peace.
Theyve tried to steal it like 4 to 5x!
Anywhere I go, I feel like im not going to see my car when I walk out of the store or etc...

I had an alarm and they jacked that too!
I had to disconnect my battery as my best anti-theft tool. They could never start it up and they were too stupid to check on the batt.

Don't sell the car. Slow progress is better than no progress. And plus patience is good because you might be able to come across great steals. IMO the car is at a good start and is pretty clean also.

Take a break. I found out that taking a break from even driving the car sparked new interest in it when I drove it again. Same could work out for modifying it, instead of slow progress try saving up for a 2-3 months straight and then see how it goes? Pretty low miles considering it's age, keep it just put it on the back burner for awhile, no need to completely abandon it. If you do that, just imagine it's going to disappear pretty much. It'll probably go through the hands of 10 different owners and countess distasteful modifications. However, if it's just you that owns it, you could take your time and tastefully modify and care for it.

/motivation speech.

That makes alot of sense! I have been working on my car alot and putting major time in it. It seems like i already have a plan for every penny I get. I LOVE the stock exterior to my car and am doing everything possible to prevent from ruining the stock look. Its a head turner for sure. I have had about 7+ offers in about 4 months and denied them all. I have had young guys and older guys in old school JDM vehicles give me props. Even the my girl loves my car. Thanks for the speech!

Keep it. My DA's has been collecting parts for two years now and still isn't done. She has been down for about a year and the anticipation is killing me to get back to driving her. Check out g2ic.com for some motivation. You can also hit up my build thread. Oh and just a quick side note, I have all the AC stuff up for grabs if you wanna put it back in.

You're right. Full time student in college working two jobs & alot of responsibilities. Working everyday of the week Monday-Monday and making such slow progress on my car is VERY frustrating. I do feel that if I keep this car, Im going to keep it forever. I LOOOVE old school JDM and I'd love to see this 30 to 40 yrs from now and remember the old days.

Stop putting money into it and just focus on school. Stop thinking about the car and start thinking about your school work. You will make it much farther in the world.

Hey take your time. I'm a student and know how it is. Lol, as things are now anyway, not to many people are chasing down AC parts so I'm sure I'll still have it all. Just send me a PM or text when your ready.

But I still think you should deff. check out that site. It's all Gen. 2 Teg's and there are build threads all over. A lot of us have to take things slow, but some of the finished products you will see will make you wonder why you even thought of getting rid of it. And there are keys to cheap and or free upgrades, so you can focus your cash on school, but still play with the teg.

Im doing my all my general and thinking about being a CHP or Cop " i know people say im wasting time with G.E. but I want the options of other careers". I like racing cars and I have a passion for a nice looking ride, but racing should be kept at the track. I have seen what cars can do to people and there are many innocent lives lost to street racing. Sometimes I feel tempted to make a run, but its not worth a life. I say this coming from a life changing experience..

Good Luck on your build and drive safe. Dont let it all go to waste for that "1" run. Keep it on the track

Well especially since I live in the DARNEST most expensive places just about to live in the country! haha

I live about 20 to 30 mins away from Oprahs mansion. Rent, Gas, Food around here is soooooo damn expensive. Gas here is about 3.20 average I think right now. I am unlucky to be born here!!! People think Cali is all fun and games, but once people move here they get a B***** slap of reality! haha

Thanks 4 the help. You guys helped out alot. Im keeping my DA =]

Yeah. actually smogging is not too bad. Theyre strict on swaps and mods though. Beaches are either uncomfortably cold or too hot to feel nice. Water has too much sand in it and is DAMN cold at all times. I have only been in the water 1x IN MY LIFE and I have never done it again. Im about 20 mins away from the coastline and the wind all the damn day gets annoying. Nice college parties but snotty rich people everywhere. Alot of people are extremely disrespectul and make you feel inferior here. Glad to hear you like where you live
