Is it true that there is going to be a million dollar challenge between 2 top fuel dragster at the shakedown?

 

i dont think force and t ped are coming to the etown skakedown. atleast i didnt see that from the article.

Here is the clip from August 11th....


The Agent 1320 operative who reported that the rumored Million Dollar Top Fuel Match Race between the Al-Anabi and Mike Ashley teams couldn’t happen because the date for the Shakedown was not a “Noise” day for the Englishtown track was absolutely incorrect.

DRO got an email from Shakedown at Etown promoter David Hance with the straight scoop: “That weekend is a ‘Noise’ date for the track so Top Fuelers can race.”

Hance also wrote that “as for the match race we have an agreement in principal but still working out a few details...it is NOT a done deal yet and I want to be clear on that...no sense bullshitting anybody.”

Nothing like getting the correct info direct from the decision maker.
One thing is sure. If the $1,000,000 race comes off DRO will be there to cover it. And we bet some of the major print and electronic media will pick up on this one



.....maybe it will happen after all. Shakedown is the **** already!
