What is the difference between a ZC engine (I think that is what it is) from a 91 CRX and a D15 engine from a 91 Civic? Reason I'm asking is because I have a friend that has a tosted D15 in his civic and got a hold of a ZC and wanted to put it in place of the D15 (both are SOHC 16v). So, can we just swap the long block (no intake or exhaust manifold)? The ZC engine we have looks to be a carborated and the D15 is FI. So again, can we strip off all the carborated stuff and bolt on the FI intake and go to town on the ZC engine?
