VAFC and Blox intake manifold worth it?
I currently have a 96 integra gsr with Intake, header, highflow cat, exhaust and i plan on wanting to buy a used Apexi VAFC and a new Blox intake manifold just to get a little more power from the Mods i already have. Is it worth buying or should i invest in something else? Please help me to decide because im looking into buy the VAFC this sometime this week.
Thanks for the reply. What programming do you suggest i get and im on a budget ? I forgot to add down the road im going to turbo my car so thats why i wanted a temporarily cheap tuning device.
Crome Pro, eCtune, NepTune, Hondata, are all great programs.
I would not waste time at all with a VAFC, they're not worth it. Like said, I would have the ECU socketed and chipped, and a good basemap or a full tune wrote for your car. Later down the line when you turbo your car, the tuner can always reburn or burn a new chip.

I have a 01 LS and I got the skunk2 manifold early this summer (after intake, header, exhaust etc.) and I really noticed a difference, especially high end. The S2 is nearly identical from what I understand. I haven't had a tune yet but i'm gettin my ecu chipped this weekend finally so we'll see how that goes.
b18c1vtecdc2 get your chipped ecu and conversion harness thru phearable.net. not only are they a sponsor of HT but have good prices, and john vega knows his **** when it comes to making you a basemap for your setup. i have a chipped p72 from them that worked awesome off just the basemap. when i tuned my car, the tuner had on a couple minor things that he move around. one of the best choices i made. check em out!
