Default Help from all the EF Sedan owners for a Newbie.

Hello Guys, I am a new user on this forum and also with cars mechanisms. But i am bit fimiliar with racing .

I live in Pakistan right nw but in sometime i will be shifted to USA California, San Diego. Some of my friends have got EF Sedans, one of them that i like has a ZC 1.6 engine some headers etc and other mods and i love it coz its fast.

Now i m in love with d EF sedan and want my first car to be an EF. Therefore i want to ask you that for hw much can i get an EF sedan in USA, hmmm tell me approximately. And how much will the mods coz me. I m lookin to get somewhat around 160-180bhp at the first months of purchase and then later we can think of some more.

I love the zc engine coz its cheap and fast enough but wen i hear an engine swap then, .Coz i have never done it. Can a workshop do it for me and how much will dis cost me.

The next thing is d paint job. If its till max 200 dollars i m willing to pay it to get a great look but if its expensive, i will go with matte finish with spray cans, and i have lots and lots of experience with them.

So can u guys tell me the answers and also an aproximate total of Car+mods *(till 160bhp)+ paint + some decent 16inch wheels and tires and coil over for slammin it

Thanx in advance.

There's way too many answers that are possible to your questions. Have you tried searching? Reading the FAQ? At least half of the info you're looking for is answered in there or at least will point you in the right direction. Cost of the ZC swap and a paint job really depends on where you go so nobody will be able to give you a definite price. I seen a couple of ads locally (I live in SD) for ZC engine for as low as $150 but sometimes I see them for $500-$600. Paint...you pay for what you get. Nuff said about that. When you get here, hit me up and I'll try to help you as much as I can.

question, im not sure if its in pakistan or not, but, has there been any improvement as in terms of drag racing strips there??? i saw on spike or discovery hd channel there was alot of serious 1/4 mile racing going on over in the east side of the world.

just asking, i think its interesting to learn how people take our sport/hobby into consideration over there

Ahhh jus dont ask bro, in Pakistan specially in the bigger cities like Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad there are lots of speed freaks. Modifyin their cars to d extreme. Well to be honest there arent any major drag strips, even if there are any, their numbers wont be above 3 all over Pakistan,

But here most drag racing is done on streets. The fastest car nw in Pakistan is an r33 skyline with above 1000bhp. so thats a good fame for Pakistan.haahah.

And well i live in Peshawar and dat r33 is also here. I nw drive and race my dad's Suzuki Esteem/Baleno. But wen i get to usa i want to have a good decent car of my own soon.

hahahah, i dint say that they mod their ef's to d extreme i was talkin abt faster tuner cars like Skylines Supras and Evos etc. But ya efs here are fast too. Coz they are cheap. Yesterday i saw an ef sedan with b20 swap in it. and it was really dropped and lookin cool
