Default integra misfire

my integra is misfiring, once i start it up, it misfire, the exhaust would go something like ba ba ba ba, what could it be. i replace the spark plugs, spark plug wires and i have a new distributor, could it be the cap and rotors, that's the only thing i haven't replace, it was running fine until now.

oh, also my integra battery keeps on going out, i just recharge it, and start it up for a couple of minutes, then turn it off, and the next day, i try to start it up and it won't start, the battery is low again, what could be draining it, the battery is tested and still good. could it be the alternator.

your altenator could be bad or your battery cables could just be bad and aren't getting good contact and about the misfire try changing your cap and rotor if that doesn't fix it the it could be a possibility that you have a blown headgasket and it may be getting water into places where it shouldn't be

it's not blown head gasket, did leak down test already, it's either the cap or rotor cause i replace plugs and wires and distributor. my battery was recharge and retested and it's good, so it has to be the alternator. well, i'm gonna test it out today with a DMM to see if it's the alternator or not. thanks.

Yeah, definetely do the cap and rotor even if that's not the problem. You always want to have a fresh ignition system to diagnose misfires. Sounds like the alternator is not charging the battery. Lots of weird stuff can happen when you don't have full battery power, also.

did this happen right after the change? If so, then 8zero8 is right. You might've screwed up the firing order if you didn't replace the wires one at a time.

i knoe the firing order is right, and it didn't happen right after the change, it just started happening a couple of months after, which i'm thinking it has to be the cap and rotor, cause there's no gasket for the cap and the cap has a lil crack.

have you checked the water level on the battery? when the battery doesnt have enough water in it it will loose charge even after you charge it, check the water level if its good then you need to replace the battery or maybe your alternator is going also

alternator is bad, just test it out w/dmm and volts were only 12.23 and it's suppose to be 1.5-14.5 volts so alternator is bad.
