got a b18b1 from 2000 integra LS and my car is burning alot of oil. did a compression test and it tested 180 across the board so im assuming its not the rings. did a leakdown and it seems like it would be the valve seals. anyone know how much it will cost to replace the parts at the shop for labor? i know parts from honda is like $40 but im not the greatest mechanic myself so im thinking about letting the shop do the job.

 

Take it to cascar, might as well do a head job.

 

taking it to cascar will cost me around 600-700 for the head job plus more for labor to install. i might as well just buy a used low mileage jdm longblock for $650 and pay 500 to install that on with 1 year warranty on the motor.

 

shop will rip you off.

 

it easy do it yourself just buy the tool ....real easy to do if you know a lil bit bout cars

 

Mine were about 23.00 bucks! i repalced mine when i first got my car nd it took me like 2 hrs. Holy **** valve jobs in cali are expensive down here for a valve job its like 350 thats how much mine was. i got new valve seal, 3 angle valve job, resurface, etc... (i got it worked on after i blew my motor)
