For months now whenever the engines cold a squeaking sound would come from the tranny until it warmed up, I shrugged it off thinking it was the cold but now I'm thinking it's the Throw Out Bearing going bad. More recently, a couple weeks now, there's a new rattling sound that comes from the tranny while in Neutral and idling and can be heard also in first gear until I pick up speed. It goes away when I'm in 3rd, 4th, 5th. So I'm thinking both the Input Shaft Bearing and Throw Out Bearing are going bad and wanna replace them before the tranny goes bad.

Reason I'm posting; I can't find any place to buy the throw out bearing and input shaft bearing. Does anyone have any links to some sites that'll sell them? I tried places like Pepboys and Autozone with no luck, and the links that I did find wouldn't load.

Also, if anyone has a part number that would greatly help. It's the input shaft bearing and throw out bearing for a 1995 Civic EX D16z6 w/stock tranny.

 

Try a Honda dealership or online parts seller.

Doubt the TOB is bad.

Sorry, full of questions, but I got a guy who will teach me how to change this thing out and everything as long as I get all the parts, so I wanna make sure I get the right ones lol...
Also, are there any o-rings/seals I should order?

You sure about the TOB? Or could the ISB cause squeaking as well?
