so i own a 97 ls integra that has been my project/dd....but i wanted to make it strictly a project so i bought a 89 civic ef with a ls swap in it...and the dude said that it leaks oil sometimes from around the value cover....im thinking it needs the head gasket replaced but im not sure....so any advice what it maybe?? also i check on andysautosports.com for a new head gasket but i couldnt find one for my engine....so any site were i can get one for a B18b1 engine??? thanks

 

do a compression test first.
go to your local auto part and ask for a 90-01 1.8 dohc non vtec head gasket

Don't go to auto part store and buy a head gasket. Spend the little extra money and purchase an authentic steel Honda head gasket.

 

why oreiley's auto parts has genuine oem replacement headgaskets!!!they've always worked great for me
