I have a friend who is looking to get rid of a set of Skunk2 lowering springs for extra cheap. However, the type s he drives is an 02. Mine is an 05. I've looked at the parts numbers and they are different, but only by the last digit. Are the two springs compatible?
Please let me know ASAP, so I don't spend the money if they are usable...

 

This has been covered, please search before you post next time. No, they are not directly compatible. The 05-06 springs are wound in the opposite direction. You can make them work but I wouldn't say it's worth the hassle.
