Default tire shake or chatter?

Having a discussion with a few of my friends and we are trying to figure out what is the main reason for tire shake/chatter.

Tire pressure? Power?

Both along with a shitty suspension/alignment

More power than the tire/sidewall can handle at that given moment. Regardless of the suspension, you can make a tire shake if you put too much power to it and there is enough traction. Go to a bad enough track and the tires will never shake.

From learning at some track rentals with our tuner who helps with a lot of big cars like promods or to alcohol dragsters and what not tire shake ocurred when the car fell off the tire. Meaning you come out with a dead hook and wad the tire up you will shake it if you don't have enough power to stay up on the tire. They throw more clutch or power at it to get rid of the tire shake.
I don't think your average FWD will even shake the tire.

Ive seen cars shake tires from either to much or to little power. Its a not so good way to gauge where your at now the decision add or take away a little power. Tire pressure will alos effect it a little

Well its gonna shake it and then blow the tire off. But that doesn't mean there was to much power.

i dont think most of us are even running a big enough tire for shake. gotta have some side wall to make that happen, no?

I have had this problem from bad alignment and traction bars not set correctly, but really only did it leaving the water box, not really on the launch. Kinda wierd.

Like i said from what ive seen on some high hp fwd cars. It usually will shake when its on the fine line. There are times that you add some and itll just spin em instead of shaking them and then there are times that its the opposite. Ive seen both adding and taking away power get rid of it. Depends where your at on your tune or boost curves. Again tire pressure will also help contribute to tire shake if its not right.
