Default My new pro level axles

Some of you know I almost wrecked the car a few weeks ago after one of my 1st gen pro level axles broke. It scared me to death. I called up and told Lee about my problem and he said to call back and tell Frank about it. I did and before I could even finish my story, Frank said "just send them back and I will change them to the new version." How could I refuse. I dropped them off last week on our way to Englishtown for D1 and they arrived at our door today. All I can say about them is: Awesome! Now, if I only had a transmission that would hold up. I don't know how much more this stock LS can take!

What happened to the MFactory mission? Maybe go back to the small tire?

Does the kit come with its own spool? Since you were already running the pro axles, did you already have that installed in your tranny?

Yeah, it comes with a spool, and since I already pro levels, the spool is still in the tranny. The intermediate shaft goes through the spool and has two female inner hubs. The left hub goes on with a snap ring and then the axle bolts to it. on the right side the hub bolts to the intermediate shaft and then the axle bolts to it.
I am still waiting on the MFactory dogbox. For now, I am using a stock LS gearbox to test a clutch. No plans on going to a small tire. I just picked up Toyo tires as a sponsor. I am goign to be using 26x9's.

those look really nice. i have had AMAZING success with my 3.9 dss axles. i do think they should recall the first batch of these and upgrade everybody to the new stuff, before any more close calls happen. see you at the shoot out, good luck

I haven't been able to make a set last more than 20 passes. I know it is mostly from the clutchless shifting setup, but the last set I was clutching it in third and fourth with a weak clutch(on purpose to try and save the gears) and the gears were still cracked. I spent so much trying to keep it together it has gotten me in the whole pretty bad. Since most of it was bad this last time, I decided to not spend any more money with them.
