i have a 91 honda accord 2 months ago i got a new distributor and sparks. car turned on fine. now there time that the car dont wanna start it cranks and it starts when it wants to. some time i have to press on the gas a few time and u hear it like it want to turn on so i keep pressin on it up to it starts. there sometimes that it just dont wanna turn on at all. all my oil are fine. dont know what to do plz help

 

make sure the main relay is cycling the fuel pump on(when turning key into accessory listen for a hum from the fuel pump as it will cycle on for a moment

 

I agree. Main relay. If you don't hear a click from behind the dash when the CEL goes out ( Key on Engine off ) it's a safe bet to replace the relay. easy hour

 

replace your fuel filter and as advised check the fuel pump relay, also check the fuel rails pressure is not too low.

 

I'm all my years I have never replaced a fuel filter on a Honda due to a symptom. If a filter is plugged or restricted, look at the fuel pressure rise time, not the ending pressure. Flow will be affected.
