Yes that write up will work on your 5th gen. I did my s2k seats and they are teh sexy time!

it will work but the seats will sit higher than they would be if you can manage to use the stock s2k rails. but if you swap pans and adjusters like that write up, you gain much more functionality out of the seats.

i for one though, prefer sitting lower, now i feel like i actually fit my car.. though it barely reclines forward, so no fat people in the back and it does not slide forward much, so no short drivers.

i love sitting low to. its more fun to drive. im gutting the rear like my em1 anyway i dont like more then one passanger in my car. will stock s2 rails work? i didnt think they just bolt in. i heard for can only get 3 bolts in and thats pushing it. do you know of any write ups for that.

Now your Prelude will be a higher target for theft. Those seats also suck...

i know right. i live outside of philly in the suburban area i had some kid last night telling me that the area we live in is one of the highest in car theft so watch your prelude because there is none around here. i was like oh thanks love to hear that

i don't remember seeing a good writeup for making the s2k rails work. and you're right, at most you can get is 3 bolts using the stock s2k rails. my s2k seats used to belong to a friend who had a shop modify and reweld and make him some custom brackets to get it all to work. it seemed iffy at first to me but he's been through 2 or 3 accidents with them so i guess they hold up lol.
