I just placed my order with Carland Acura but i haven't recieved any emails or anything and then Vic (fuguman) just told me that they are on national backorder..is there any truth to that? Thanks

Darn i should've just ordered the comptech sway bar kit

 

I talked to one of the guys at carland and he told me that they are expecting some on the 28 of this month. I ordered one a week ago.

 

does any one know where to get the comptech sway bar kit at a good price?

 

What is a good price? I saw them for like 350...which is way more than i want to pay.

 

I'm glad I got mine when I did. I ordered it probably a month and a half ago and it took two weeks to get here. They were waiting for something else, but not the bar. Just be patient and get the Type-R bar. It's well worth the price.

well, we should all get used to this kind of thing.

our cars are not being serviced that much by the dealers any more, so they are going to start phasing out our parts, and eventually most dealers will have one copy of some things, and nothing of others.

hehe, i told you

just go to home depo get a thick metal bar and bend it into a shape of a sway bar
you get to choose the thickness
and it should run you about $10
DTR (duct tape racing) all the way

 

I ordered mine about 4-5 months ago from AHmotor. They seemed to have missed my form recently...so I emailed two weeks ago and they got a bar out...just came yesterday.

 

I just called acuraatuomotiveparts and they said that it may take 3 weeks for me to get it. dissappointing but what can i do.

 

Andy from A&H told me in a recent e-mail that they have been released from backorder. I e-mailed them last monday and they said my bar would come in soon. Now it's the next week and I'm still waiting. Quote I've received for the past 8 e-mails or so:
"...your bar will be coming in soon."
