Default Slow GSR (B18c1)

I have a 1993 Civic VX Model(Lighest Model) with a 1994 GSR Swap which reads 230psi in each cylinder. Has password JDM Intake with filter full exhaust with stock b17 exhaust manifold stage 2 clutch. No check engine lights everything is hooked up even my butterflies which most people dont do. I've lost to cars I shouldnt be losing to including a stock ls swap coupe by 3 cars! WTH is going on here? This thing goes no where! Could something be causing this?

No, I'm actually a good driver I've owned LS Swaps that went better. No car idles fine drives good... just not as quick as it should be it does smoke but I'm guessing valve seals.

Yes, it was a stock ls with i/h/e he has a LS tranny I have a GSR tranny. Yes, car hits vtec LOUD sometimes it will hit at 4,400 or at 4,800 its weird but my valves do have some tick into them. I thought my rings were done but with 230+ Compression in each cylinder i doubt it...

I assume it's your buddy since you know the engine setup. You never know... maybe he's got a trick up his sleeve that you don't know about. **** just some higher comp pistons and a b16 tranny could have an ls running down gsr's

hmm you did the test coreectly right?

normaly a gsr should kill a ls no problem, inless the guy with the ls is lyeing about what he has.

It's not the driver trust me. It's nothing up the sleeve because its more than just his LS thats taken me down. I let other people drive it and they said its not pulling like it should. Yes, I did the test correctly.

Ive also come across the same issue with my friends Gsr swap into his Ef.. no check engine lights but its so dam slow.. My guess is that it could be a bad ground... check and make sure your getting full power so check all of those major ground wires. Head to chasis, tranny to chasis, and the thermostat grounds.

lol 230psi on 140k miles? test it again.. if its smoking then that could be your problem. Replace the rings if necessary or a full tune up

The motor came out of a show car. I was told by people the smoke was valve seals. I've done the test multiple times its 230+ everytime I've tried different compression gauges always 230+

What condition are your plugs and wires? An improper gap would have less power without a CEL.

Plugs are brand new NGK Iridium Lasers gapped correctly. Timing is dead on brand new belt at that. It's not insanely slow just not like it should be.
