Default '87 700 Super Magna coolant issues

Can anyone help...love this bike but it has developed an annoying problem. Coolant is , from time to time, coming out from the fill cap an radiator. The thermostat checks good , can't find any info on sensor yet so no Idea if it's good. I'm hopping it's not a bad head gasket. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Considering how old the girl is, it might be that the cap has gone bad. Cheap fix might be to try a new cap...or have a place test the cap.

IMHO, there are few things worse to deal with on a bike than cooling system issues. As suggested, try a new cap and let us know. gl.

if the cap doesnt solve the issue try removing the thermostat and putting it in a pot of boiling water and see if its opening up. and see what temp it opens up at.
