I have a DA and just got a G.E. scattershield for it and it goes right over the front engine mount. i have looked all over the place to see if i can run without the front mount and cant really find any info. if anyone has any infomation how to install it would be helpful. thanks in advanced. bobby

 

if your running aftermarket mounts that are stiff enough you could get away w/o the front mount. the EF mount kits just use the 3. other than that you will probably have to fab up a new front mount.

 

I have poly inserts. will that be enought?

 

hard to say... might not be enough. if your using slicks you might get too much motor movement. best bet would be to fab up a new mount.

 

On my crx, I ran the deist blanket scattershield...might want to look into that.
