That car's a load of fun to drive...makes my NSX feel like a pig.

Been in it, driven it...nice car. I like the blue too.
You'll have to call the guys at Cybernation Motorsports for more information...I just know it's fun to drive, hehe. They local number is (954) 523-8483...

It's not my RSX-S...it belongs to Cybernation Motorsports. I'm just friends with the owners, so I get to play with the toys.
Yes...100hp with 3psi of boost...you don't like that? -Andie

ok so lets get thi s straight.
10 PSI is equal to 100HP so MAGICALLY 3 PSI on a RSX gets you 100hp HMMM let me think NO.
so what does he all have done? and what is his dyno numbers.
I BET MONEY he aint got as much done as this guy right here.
http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread...threadid=39627
and he dynoed at 14PSI 310hp and 232tq.
and he has alot of stuff done to it and most likey he got about 175 to the wheels is the norm for the RSX . so lets see.
310HP (which is what he dynoed at 14PSI. minus 175 lets say thats what he was at stock. hmm 135.
now lets do your equasion same 175 stock and he dynoes 100 over stock thats 250. and if your telling me that his stock RSX with nothing on it dynoed at 150 then your ******* nuts because base models dyno out at 145 or so.
unless he has about 10000 bucks worth of tunning i don't belive a thing you said.

"10 psi is equal to 100hp" where in the hell did you hear that? It doesn't work that way bro. There are about a million different factors that determine how much power you will make with boost. Do you think a race car with 800 hp is running 80psi? I think 100hp on a very efficient and high compression motor is possible with excellent tuning.

on that note. that turbo sounds really sweet.. keep us posted on what else they do to that car after it hits 1000m sounds like they have some big plans for it.
I went to cybernation motorsports yesterday and talked to the owners and saw the car. It is all true. It gets 251 whp at 3psi, 270 at 5psi and about 290 at 7 psi. They have a 4 bay garage with a dyno, and I was very impressed with all that I saw. They made their own fuel management system, and they have a T3, T4 hybrid turbo on it. the car has only 700 miles on it. they installed the turbo in 2 days but they worked around the clock to do it. Normally it takes about a week to install. They bought the car as a demo vehicle a week ago, and it is totally stock except for the turbo. When they hit 1000 miles they will add more mods to it.

still don't believe IT.....it's nice and all but i would need to see a dyno graph (not the last one that was posted up)....not doubting what they told you but i think they might be overating thier #'s.... what kind of dyno are they using??

no way period made their own fuel management system??? as in stand alone?? (btw hondata hasn't even released thier tuned ecu) even if they did.... 251 @ 3 psi!! w/ a t3/t4???? no (this is a bse rsx isn't it , even if it's not doesn't matter)

I dont understand why its so hard to believe? Do you work for Turbo magazine? or are you an expert on the K20 engine? Did you even call their number or email them to see if its true? here is their number if you didnt. 954-523-8467. and they have a Dynojet 248, if you wanna see a pic of it here it is. http://www.dynojet.com/auto.shtml
I cant see why people find it so hard to believe that the company that built the b-18, and engine everybody raves about, can build a better engine? The employees at honda must know what they are doing. and must be at least as smart as honda-tech members

Plus the making your own fuel management system is kinda sketchy too. It's probably just a FPR or something...
I asked for details...it's actually 100rwhp at 7psi of boost...not 3psi as I originally thought. I'm not a FI person...not my area of expertise, so please forgive the error.

Horsepower output isn't completly dependent on what psi is being run. It does depend on the volumetric effieciency, the flow rate of the turbo at a given psi, etc. As an example, the highly modified (re: cylinder head work) 2.0L GM Ecotec drag motor made 350 hp at 2 psi, and is now making over 1000hp with over 30 psi!

I was told that at 7psi it was close to 290whp, 5psi was around 270 and 3 psi was 250. I talked to the owner of the shop and the blue rsx who also built the car and the fuel management system. He said he had to run 2 lines to the gas tank, and a bunch of other stuff. He also told me that it can safely boost to 7psi, but at 3 psi it was 250 hp. I'm just going by what I was told by the owner.

ooooookkkkk
