I did a search, but couldn't really find anything. What I want to know is how much more difficult is this swap going to be compared to the H22 swap put into my old 90 Accord and also, I already know that I'm going to need aftermarket mounts and hybrid axles, but what else is there to know, i.e. which harness to use, where to and how to route the cable linkage, etc.? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

The swap is almost exaxtly like it is into an EG/EJ. talk to newman, h22ek, or poison, they can help you out further.

what year ek do you have?

96-98 civic is good, if its an LX? boy o boy the wiring is different, but I may have the pinouts pretty soon

 

i already got it figured out for us chris. 96-98 engine harness. whichever mount kit u want. OBD2-OBD1 adapter harness. 94-95 P13 ECU and extent wires where needed. we need axles, shift linkage. get the motor from steve at hondamotorsonline.com.

 

It's a 99 DX hatch. I bought it yesterday.

Is your H22A obd2 and if so how did you get past the immobilizer system?
