12x1.25 to 10x1.5 shift knob question

Default 12x1.25 to 10x1.5 shift **** question

I want to fit this new shift know (12x1.25) to my shifter (10x1.5) but it did not some with any inserts/adapters. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

the **** has a insert that it already threaded for 12x1.25 Thanks for the reply.

If you really want to use that ****, take it to a machine shop they can do it for you really quickly.

They would probably charge around 15-20$.
Which is cheaper than some sort of adapter.

I would say go to the hardware store and get a threaded insert. find one that has your shift rods thread pitch for the inner threads, and your shift ***** threads for the outer. I know ACE Hardware has LOTS of them.
