will the 94 integra harness work with 96 ls engine? please help
hello all,
so to be quick and to the point, i have a 93 civic cx with a 96 b18b swap. p28 ECU if that matters. thing is, the guys that put the engine in, wired it for vtec. so now about a year after owning it, im replacing my harneses. the thing is, the underdash harness is all spliced up to hell. and i get the CEL that my vtec solenoid is missing. no $hit, its not there. so i bought a 95 civic dx interior harness. will that be plug and play with the 93 civic? and i bought a 94 integra b18b engine harness. will that work with the 96 engine? if not, why wont it? i read somewhere that the 94 and 96 engines are pretty much the same, except that the 94 has an FITV and 96 doesnt, so why would the harnesses be different?
please help.

Shouldn't have any problems with the OBD1 dash harness, the only thing your gonna have to change when it comes to the motor is the Distributor and alternator connections. You can eithere swap it out for OBD1's or you can swap out the plugs.
awsome. thank you. cuz i was looking at the one in the car and everythign was there, except the little bell-shaped plug with one yeloow w/red stripe on it. the 94 harness i bought just has a crimp on it. and its a yellow red wire also. so i guess i can just solder the connection right? and as far as the distributor plug and al plug....can i just cut the wires on both harneses and splice em together...or do the colors not match up?

trust me you're not going to want to cut and splice your dizzy plugs. all the colors should be the same, just depin the old plug from your old harness, and put it on your new 94 harness
yeah, i um went outside today and checked my dizzy plug, the yellow wire with red stripe with the bell shaped thing, and the alternator....they all seem to be plug and play. which i kinda figured, because all the parts are interchangeable. so yeah thanks for the help.
**the harness im putting in is on my bedroom floor...waiting
for the nylon sleeving and heat shrink to arive on my doorstep. i figured since my dash is gonna be out and im replacing the engine harness, i might as well do the wire tuck. ive done minor one on drivers side fender, but i want to do the whole thing. so yeah. **
